We provide a secure climate-controlled museum environment for all works-of-art in our custody.
Hartmann Conservation can provide on-site, or off-site, secure climate-controlled storage of museum artifacts. Off-site storage is nearby, and is closely monitored by conservation professionals to ensure the safety of your collections. The environment (temperature, relative humidity & light levels) is strictly monitored with computerized data loggers to ensure that institutional and museum standards are maintained.

If your artwork needs a replacement frame, we can provide a selection of custom moldings for our clients consideration. We strongly support and recommend the replacement of all acidic matting materials with stable, acid-free, museum quality products. We will always help our clients to make the best decision for their artwork, while taking budgets into consideration.
Protective Artifact Enclosure
We can create protective artifact enclosures for framed paper-based artifacts to protect from direct handling, insects, or quick climate changes. Rather than back your framed artifact with a simple dust cover and/or dry mounting, we routinely provide Mylar tape-sealed packages with ultra violet filtering acrylic sheeting, acid-free mats, archival hinging, and protective inert backing boards.
